Bio:
John Griffith Moala Tupouniua is currently a Lecturer in Mathematics Education at the Institute of Education, Massey University in New Zealand. He teaches courses in mathematics education, STEM education and Pasifika education. John was born in Tonga, where he did his primary education. He then left on a scholarship for the United States in 2003 to do his high school in New England and then began his undergraduate studies in Maryland. He returned to the Pacific Islands in 2010, and completed his Masters and Doctorate at the University of Auckland.
